Global Career Series Banner

Based out of Georgia State University, the Global Career Series provides an opportunity for attendees to learn about global organizations, ask questions, and have informal discussions with organization representatives about career and internship opportunities. In addition to the Atlanta Global Studies Center, this collaborative endeavor is supported by the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies and the Center for Urban Language Teaching and Research (CULTR).

April 8, 2024: International Business & Opportunities

Session designed to equip participants with the knowledge and strategies necessary to tap into the global marketplace. Participants are encouraged to explore the benefits of global business engagement and develop the mindset and capabilities required for success in the international marketplace.

Session designed to guide individuals interested in joining non-governmental organizations (NGOs) through the process of finding, applying to, and successfully contributing to NGOs operating in diverse global contexts.

April 10, 2024: Teaching English at Home or Abroad

This session is aimed to enlighten students about the various opportunities available to teach English, both domestically & internationally. Attendees will gain valuable information regarding various paths and rewards that come with teaching English as a second language.
